Love is all that really matters.

Holy God, thank you for another day. It is within my hope in You that I am saved. I hope for what I do not see, I wait for it with patience. Father, I wait patiently for my healing. Remove all cancer cells out of my body and never let them return again. Bless my medicines, our medicines, my doctor, and nurses. I pray that You give me divine strength to endure the race and to survive this journey. I also pray for my classmates in this journey. Amen.
Romans 8:24-25


Dear Lord, the scripture states that You sent out Your word and healed them. You rescued them from the grave. Father, hear my cries and rescue me from the grave. I put my trust in You, I also have hope in You that I will be saved and remove all cancer cells in my body, bless my medicines for my treatment so it can help to heal me, but, Lord, it is You who will save me. It is You who can make me whole again. Have Your divine way within me so that I can be at peace once again. Amen. Psalm 107:20

Blessed be the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts me in all of my affliction, so that I may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which I myself have been comforted by God. Lord, I pray that during my chemotherapy, I will be able to comfort other patients around me with the comfort that You have given to me. Be with me, blessed Father. Amen.

I put my hope in You because You see the bigger picture and I know that You will be glorified through my intense trial of chemotherapy. Help me to focus on You in this period of great suffering. Blessed God, You have commanded me to be strong and courageous. Bless my treatment, Bless my Doctor and nurses. Lord, You know all things. you know my heart desire, I find comfort in knowing that You are in control and You are not surprised by anything. I will not be terrified because You go with me. You will never leave me nor forsake me. Amen. Deuteronomy 31:6


God can use medicine to heal us. We live by faith and not by sight. God is always behind the scenes working.

Lord, bless all my medicines. Bless me on my ongoing chemotherapy treatment today. Bless my husband, my doctor, nurses, and all the people remembering us on Tony's Birthday, "Ito ang cash gifts na natanggap ni Nonoy this year. Pinangbili lahat ng mga gamot ko for my 12th cycle today." 

Maraming, maraming salamat sa pagmamahal nyo sa amin. Let team Tony Albar continue receiving blessings from you and continue my life to be a blessing to all of you. That in all things God may be glorified.


Never underestimates the power of love and prayers. Thank you, my dearest husband Tony, you definitely inspire me to fight harder, no matter how difficult it gets. I'm very fortunate to have you on my side. Thank you, Tony and Puti for having me today.

Healing Prayer, Healing Doctor and Medical Healing Works Together!

According to this passage from the Bible, when we are sick we should pray to the Lord AND call the doctor, for in many cases it may be that the Lord will use the physician as the primary source of healing. The key is to let our Lord be in charge, and not dictate to Him the ways in which you want Him to help you. Let Him use all the means at His disposal-we are just to trustfully surrender to His care: "Cast all your care on the Lord, for He cares for you" ( I Peter 5:7). Today is my 1st cycle of chemo, 1st line of treatment. All are ready. We arrived just timely at the FMAB Qualimed PGH Hospital. I am nervous and I cannot explain the fear I have inside, with my family around I was able to make it look like I am a perfect courageous patient. Someone like me going through a vast life-changing experience needs a lot of prayers and strength. Yes. God is my strength and my refuge. Our awesome God gifts me his awesome  Cancer specialist Doctor Jorge Ignacio  and on top of his good heart, He grants me another awesome Radio Oncologist Doctor Vicente Francisco Hizon Chairman of Radio Oncologist at Perpetual Hospital. They were able to help me have a possible remedy to relieve my pain, improve the quality of my life, and maybe by God's grace it can kill my Cancer DNA cells on that certain painful tumor on my abdominal muscles.  Today is my 56th Birthday and it's my 35th Radiation Treatment day here at Perpetual Hospital in Las Pinas. I wake up very early today. Bright sunshine makes me smile. The breeze makes me calm and thinks about how far I've been in my roller coaster journey. "Kahit gaano katagal ang gabi, darating din ang umaga." It's been a year now, The 1st time in my life is scary but I never let fear stop me from doing the right thing. These past years I've learned a lot. No school needed to learn the exact value of time. Your heart will teach you in your own language. After a lot of asking, God speaks in the silence of my heart. Thank you, Lord. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude for what God had done, I am on my 19th Chemotherapy Cycle now and need to continue more treatment. If you will ask me how many more are left? I still don't know. I still have a tumor, a mass on my liver, and that I believe God can melt if he will. God has a plan for all of us. I saw the sun shining so brightly this morning. It made me remember my siblings and how blessed I am that God has given them to me. Let me thank my family with these simple clips for taking care of me ever since I was born and for all kinds of support they are extending to me and my husband Tony now in my roller coaster journey. Thank you for my father, for enduring every hard day to be able to provide for us and never complains. Even on his weak days, he remains strong and hard working to provide us with a good life here on earth. On September 1, 1982, he went to heaven.  Thank you for my mother who loves us unconditionally just like Mary loved Jesus. She provided us with breakfast food on the table which was very delicious. The Unveiling Of My Baby Hair!

To God be all the glory! Yehey! Madami na ulit hair ko, though bungi-bungi pa kilay ko ayus na rin. If ever, balding returns I think I can handle it more bravely. Wink! My husband noticed that my hair is increasing in volume and he never forget to touch my hair and remind me that it is a sign of life. Behind his back, I always felt my tears down on my cheeks just knowing that I am really gaining back my hair. It's like a baby in my mother's womb that waiting for the exact number of days to complete me and be born.  I just realize that I love short hair on me. My new baby hair or Virgin hair turns soft, wavy, and silky. This gives me a little fun to consider my new look, seems I want to try new looks as my hair gets longer and makes it feel more fun rather than pain (though it definitely can be). I tried to treat each length as to if I had a new haircut and was learning to restyle it. But I love it this short for many practical reasons like it's easy maintenance and I feel
